Transmit Area ID
The non-backbone area that the virtual link goes through.
Area Border Router ID
The Router ID of the virtual link’s other endpoint.
The “Add New” button lets you define a new Virtual Link.
Virtual Link Details Screen
Access this screen (Figure 3.67) by clicking on the appropriate numbered link
under the “Index” column on the Virtual Link Table screen.

The Virtual Link Details screen provides the following user-activated buttons:
Originate Ping
The WANsuite 7105 Originate Ping (Figure 3.68) function helps telephone
companies determine if a network is properly configured and also helps them
maintain SLAs.

Button Function
Submit Sets any values that have been changed.
Virtual Link Table Returns you to the previous screen.
Delete Virtual Link
Deletes currently defined Virtual Link.
