Display Alarm
Buffers
To display the alarm buffer, enter the letter “O” in the
Net Port
Alarm Menu
. The Display Alarm Buffer displays all major and
minor alarms that have occurred at each port. When an alarm is
cleared, the time stamp changes to reflect the time the alarm was
cleared.
Rn Remote Alarm Indication (RAI) Threshold/RAI Interval: Use this option to
indicate a monitoring interval that is greater than the threshold.
In the Superframe format, an RAI consists of Bit 2 of all 24 channels set
to zero.
In ESF format, an RAI is a repeating pattern of eight ones followed by
eight zeros transmitted over the ESF Data Link.

indicate a monitoring interval that is greater than the threshold.

alarm indicates a second with one or more ESF error events.
Enter the maximum number of ES to be allowed in 15 minutes and 24
